Hybrid (reboot), Chapter 8: Seiton
Chapter 8: Seiton During warp speed, General Infernus sat in his silver throne in shame. He looked at the previous screen recordings for the assault of Chartorla. As he watched, his army blasted away many cities and shot down many Cobain civilians and soldiers. Then the next recording showed Purelif forces joined the Cobains in the fight against the Threshers. There was a clip where Grim’s soldiers were chasing down Alexander as he rushed into a temple. Grim rushed in to execute him as a Purelif elite team interfere and rescued the boy. Eventually one of the tanks fired and the temple was destroyed, taking Grim with it. “General,” his Thresher pilot spoke. “We are approaching Planet Cynbel.” “Disenage warp speed,” said General Infernus. His command ship slowed down as they spotted their home planet. Flying towards it, the planet was surrounded by a red grid. Orbiting the outside of the grid were swarms of their own security cruisers flying around as busy bees.

Chapter 6: Trauma Laying on a bed, Alexander slowly opened his eyes. A bright light hit his face. He winched and turned away. The brightness of the light slowly dimmed. Although vision was blurred as he struggled to look at objects in the room. ‘Was I dreaming? Am I still dreaming?’ His heart fluttered as a shadowy figure entered the room. He couldn’t make out who it was, either a Thresher or person. As it got closer to him, to took the shape of a woman. He squinted in hopes to get a better look. ‘Mother, is that you? Please let it be you.’ His vision adjusted where he could see clearly. The shadowy woman appeared as a Cobain nurse in gray scrubs. He looked around as he was surrounded by computers and medical instruments. Feeling his arms and head, he was wrapped in bandages. Stickers were attached to his skin. A couple needles were sticking out of his wrists. Alarmed, he tried to pull them off. “Where am I?!” Alexander shouted pulling the

The Prophet

In the early morning, Alexander woke as the rising star Vega hit his face. He covered himself with a blanket and he laid in bed motionless, struck by it. Getting out of his bed slowly, he popped his head out of the window. Looking up at the hills, he wondered about Jardi Meadow and whatever that would mean to him. He had no idea. What a heavy burden he had to think about. He retreated back into to his bed. ‘How can I get there if my mother won’t allow me?’
A knock was heard from his door. “Alex, are you awake?”
Alexander did not answer. He closed his eyes

Alexander
June 12, 2343
On the deck of a cottage in the Chartorla rainforest, Helen sat on the bench with her eight-year-old son Alexander on her lap. His ocean blue eyes stared as he was awed by the twinkling stars in the night sky. She stroked his spiky white hair as she glanced at what he was looking at, the sight reminding her of someone she had lost long ago.
“Mother, what’s wrong?” Alexander asked her.
“I’m tired,” she lied. “I think it’s time to go to bed.”
The boy nodded and she carried him to his bedroom. Carefully, she stepped over his toys scat

Darkness
The sky was utterly black as a young man strolled across the field. Crispy cold air filled his lungs as he breathed. Fog smoldered across the frozen terrain. Crunching was all he could hear as he walked over grass frozen as icicles. No birds nor bats flying around. Trees stood with their leaves and bark stripped. Dead silence, that was all there was.
A black hooded cloak wrapped around him. He held out a piece of a green glowing crystal, his only source of light. Just ahead of him, countless corpses lay along his path. As he walked, he passed a few laid face flat on the ground. Others had on their armor melte
