    Alexander slowly opened his eyes and closed them as the light was too bright. He opened them again and his eyes adjusted. Then he noticed he was wearing an oxygen mask tied around his head. The mask was attached to a tank just below his bed.
    He started twitched and noticed needles, wires, and EKG pads were pinned all over his body. A long bandage went from the lower chest to the lower abdomen. He rose up and was only wearing scrub shorts. He held his stomach firmly as it was where his father stabbed him.
    “Alex…” someone said weakly to him. Alexander turned around and Colonel Chan had his eyes opened and moving.
    “Colonel!” He slightly smiled as his colonel was finally out of his coma.
    Colonel Chan moved his head around and looked confused. He spoke in a raspy voice. “What happened?”
    Alexander pulled his oxygen mask off
